Reopening Decision Timeline For Week of January 12, 2025

Dear SMC Community Members,

Based on the information we have at this time, we anticipate being able to re-open all college campuses, except for the Malibu campus, for on-ground operations on Monday, January 13. College leadership and the Emergency Operations Team will continue to monitor the fires and the weather over the weekend and will make a final decision regarding on-ground operations by Sunday, January 12, and will communicate that information to the SMC community by 12 p.m. that day.
